Change your world and watch your world change
Change can be a difficult topic to talk about especially when you're not ready for it. For many years I had this vision of how I wanted my life to be and the path I was taking was definitely not going to take me there. I needed to make a drastic change before it was too late. I went through three stages of change before reaching my actual goal. The first stage was getting my mindset to what it was about to endure. Mindset Before physically committing to accomplishing any goal you need to be mentally prepared. Getting your mind to switch gears can be a game changer. You need to set the stage and envision your goal in your mind before actually making the plunge. If you can't see where you're going then it can actually work against you. Draw out the road map in your head or even on paper to make it official and now you are ready.
The Transition This stage is one of the most difficult stages because you're leaving your old habits and trying to replace them with new ones. Your mind will tell you to quit and just go back to your old ways but you must not listen. When you hear that little voice in your head that tells you to give up, that's when you need to crank it up a notch and switch gears to beast mode! You will be tempted in many ways and you will not understand the process sometimes, however, stay committed and stay on track and you will see results!
The Jump You will know when it's time to finally take the plunge and go all in! Once this happens there is no going back. You have finally crossed the line and have chosen greatness over everything. There is nothing that can get in the way of your mission and this is when you will see the most growth. You will understand what you have gone through and all those why questions will have been answered. Continue on this journey and remember that it will get easier with time. You are ready to fly!
The road to change might seem a bit lonesome at times, however, I myself have never felt alone. You will look back at all you have been through and think to yourself if I can do this so can others! You will walk a bit taller, hold your head a bit higher and smile just a bit longer because there is nothing that can get in the way now. You will have learned to become resilient and that my friends is something that can never be taken from away from you. Change is good. Actually, change is great!
